Hdwarelab Laser Privacy Policy

Hdwarelab Laser is a companion app for compatible Bluetooth laser engravers. This policy describes the app, rather than the separate hdwarelab.com website.

Photos and image processing

You choose photos using Apple's photo picker or take a photo with the camera after granting permission. Image processing, person isolation, line-art conversion and engraving slicing run on your device. We do not upload your photos to our servers or an external AI service. If you save a slice to Photos, the app requests permission to add that image to your library.

Bluetooth and stored engraving files

Bluetooth connects the app to your selected compatible engraver. When you request an upload or engraving, the app sends engraving data and control commands to that device. Uploaded engraving files may remain in the engraver's storage after the app closes; replacing a stored job depends on the device's firmware. Bluetooth device names and connection information are used to operate the connection.

Settings and collection

Material presets are stored locally on your Apple device. The app has no account registration, advertising, third-party analytics or tracking. We do not collect app usage, photos or Bluetooth data on our servers. Photos you save and local app data may be subject to your Apple device's backup or iCloud settings.

Your choices

You can manage Camera, Photos and Bluetooth permissions in Settings. You can delete exported photos using Photos and remove local app settings by deleting the app. Deleting the app does not delete images in Photos or engraving files on the engraver.

Support

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send, and use them to answer your request. Do not send sensitive images or information you do not want included in your support request.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app's data practices change. The effective date will be updated when a revised policy is published.

您发起上传或雕刻时，App 通过蓝牙向所选雕刻机发送雕刻数据和控制指令。文件可能保存在雕刻机中，关闭或删除 App 不会删除这些文件。材质预设保存在本机，App 不要求注册账号，不含广告、第三方统计或追踪。我们不会在服务器收集使用记录、照片或蓝牙数据。已保存照片及本机数据可能受您的设备备份或 iCloud 设置影响。

您可以在系统设置中管理相机、相册和蓝牙权限，在相册中删除导出图片，或删除 App 清除本地设置。删除 App 不会删除相册图片和雕刻机文件。
